A Somali official says five Anti peaces Al shabab were killed in fight between Al shabaab fighters and SNA, along with Djibouti-a peacekeepers in Hiiraan region.

Confirming the incident, Bula-burde district commissioner Abdulaziz Durow said the fighting broke out at militants-controlled Doonkadiide village; killing five of  Al shabaab fighters and others were injured.

"Our SNA soldiers and their allied AMISOM troops attacked Al shabaab base at Doonkadiide village and killed five Al shabab as said by the Mayer Bula-burde .

 

Bulo-burde is a strategic town, linking Somalia’s Hiran and Middle Shabelle regions, and was an important base for Al-Shabab for more than five years but since March 2014 when Anti peace was moved out in operation of Indian ocean it is in hand of Somali Government.
