President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sh. Mohamud together with a large delegation has landed Ugas Khalif Airport in Hiiraan region in central Somalia on Monday.

President Mohamed’s visit to Beledweyne is said to be aimed at ending conflict between two clans who fought in the center of the town a week earlier and having consultation with scholars, traditional elders and politicians over establishing new administration for Hiiraan and Middle Shabelle region and Governor appointment and replacement made.
Reports from Beledweyne say people welcomed the president and his delegation when reached there.

The president is accompanied by members from Federal Parliament, Executive council and officials Hiiraan region according to the statement.
