Somali Government deploys troops to Marko to intervene in enter-clan fighting.
The federal government of Somalia has deployed troops to the conflict-hit coastal town of Marko to bring to an end a deadly enter-clan fighting there, a top military official said.
The troops who are made up of military units and soldiers from the National Intelligence and security agency (NISA) will intervene in the clan fighting and take over the city’s security, said Gen Yusuf Ali Agey, a senior army officer.
"The national armed forces reached Marko will secure the town and stop the clan feud and all over security,” said Gen Agey while speaking to the Media. The commander also noted that they on duty 24/7 because we are doing our best to get peace in all over the country and Notional Flag stands in all over Somali.
