Somali National Army carryout successful Operations against Al shabaab and killed over eight Alshabaab in villages under Basra town in Middle Shabelle.

Somali National Army Special Forces continue to launch military operations against Al Shabaab Middle Shabelle According Mohamed Ali Sabriye Somali National Army Radio reporter who is in the Field said the forces killed the over eight Alshabaab members including ring leaders and injured scores of Al shabaab also destroyed Al shabaab bus which was caring explosive devices.

SNA have arrested ten al-Shabaab members in an operation in villages under Basra town in Middle Shabelle.

"We have cleared the road linking to Afgoye and Balad town, Ten al-Shabaab were arrested. The areas are now peace as al-Shabaab fled,” said a military official.

Somali national army intensified operations to drive away al-Shabaab in south and central Somalia.
