The police have offered an Sh8 million reward for information that will lead to the apprehension of four terrorism suspects responsible for the Mandera bus attack that left two commuters dead.

Two people died while four others were injured when a Makka bus was attacked in Mandera on December 21 by Al-Shabaab militants, in an incident where Kenyan Muslims boldly protected Christians from being executed by declining to be split into groups.

The terrorists had planned to separate the passengers, free the Muslims and kill the Christians.

The bus was en route to Mandera from Nairobi. A similar incident occurred in November 2014, when 28 non-Muslims were executed by members of the same group.

"The Police (are) requesting members of the public with info about them to call the numbers provided or report to the nearest police station, ” a police notice says.

They are Mohammed Osman Aliow, Abdullahi Dimbil Ahmed, Mohammed Ahmed Farah and Abukar Mohammed Yunis.
