Mogadishu:- Minister of Defense of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdukadir Sh. Ali Diini has on Tuesday laid the foundation of an industry which will produce army uniform and equipment.

Turkish government will support the Somali government on the construction of this factory in order to cover the needs of the Somali National Army.

"This is a historic day; we put the foundation of a factory making clothes for our soldiers, I hope it will be useful and enough to our country, we thanks Turkish government which is giving us hand of support”, Mr. Diini said.

Al-qeada linked group of Al-Shabab carried out terrorist attacks in the Somali capital Mogadishu and rest of the country by wearing government uniforms therefore such move will at least take a great role in the protection of evil acts according to statement.
