Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers have clashed with Al shabaab in an area near Burhakabo town in Bay region, according to the officer.

Speaking to SNA Radio, Ali Hassan Abdi who is in charge of Burhakabo district said Government troops attacked Al Shabaab base at Jameco area located in the outskirts of Burhakabo.

 

"Several Al Shabab were killed in gun battle and they fled with more than the wounded. No casualties on our side”. Said Burhakabo Mayer during an interview with SNA Radio.

 

The situation of Jameco village has returned to normal after the battle in the other side he said that the residents are doing well he also thanks the people who have did their best by working with the Security officers.
