    Somali government condemns Saudi Arabia Embassy attack in Tehran-Iran

    The Somali government has Tuesday condemned the attacks against Saudi Arabia Embassy and Consulates in Iran a day before and showed support to Saudi on the war of terror.

The Somali government has Tuesday condemned the attacks against Saudi Arabia Embassy and Consulates in Iran a day before and showed support to Saudi on the war of terror.

Ministry of foreign Affairs and Investment Promotion of the Federal Republic of Somalia issued at Statement written in Arabic Version towards worsening diplomatic ties between Saudi and Iran states in Middle East.

"The attack of Saudi Arabia violates the Vienna Convention on international diplomatic mission reached in 1961, the agreement was preserving embassy premises and diplomats”, the statement said.

The Somali government stands side by side with Saudi monarchy on its operation against terrorism and ensuring the security in its territory and the region as whole according to the Statement.

Saudi Arabia cut diplomatic relations it had with Iran after angry people stormed its embassy in Tehran following the Execution of 47 including Shi’ate Cleric by Saudis early this week.
