Government troops said its fighters briefly seized a key town in southern Somalia from Anti peace following a deadly gunfight on Sunday night.
As the statement says for the group carried a message saying
Al shabaab poured into Warmahan village which lies on Mogadishu-Baidoa highway,
occupying police station during the mid-night raid.
On the other hand, Lower Shabelle police Chief Abdi Ibrahim
said Somali troops repulsed the attack and killed at least three Al shabaab
fighters while SNA was neither injury nor death.
Somali government forces aided by African union peacekeepers
(AMISOM) have reached Wawmahan area on Monday morning, according to the local
residents.
Warmahan, which locates some 80 kilometers northwest of Mogadishu is said that Warmahan town is in the hands of Government troops.
