The Commander of the Somali National Army's Land Forces, Major Gen Sahal Abdullahi Omar, was warmly welcomed today in Dhuusamareeb, the capital of the Galmudug regional state

The commander arrived at the Dhusamareb, where he was received by the Commander of the 21st Division, Col Mohamed Dhagawayne, along with other Military officers.

The commander also received a formal military salute from ground forces units stationed at the airport.

The visit by the Land Forces Commander is part of regular inspections aimed at encouraging the troops and boosting the ongoing operations to eliminate the Khawarij insurgents in the central regions.
