Somali National Army, specifically the 86th Battalion of the 77th Brigade, in collaboration with local forces, conducted planned operations in the areas of Mareey Suuleey, Hilowle Gaab, and Shiiqow Gaab, which are located along the border of the Middle Shabeellaha and Galgaduud regions.

This operation, which is part of the government's efforts to eliminate khawarij, targeted hideouts where the extremists were taking cover after intelligence reports revealed their plans for attacks.

The national army, remaining vigilant against khawarij plots, preemptively struck the Khawarij, launching well-planned attacks on their gathering spots, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy.

Military officers leading the operation confirmed to Somali National Army Radio that the terrorist hideouts were destroyed and several members of the khawarij were killed.
