Somali National Army and local forces continues operations against Khawaarij in the rural areas surrounding Jowle, in the southern part of the Mudug region.
During the operation, the forces killed Abdullahi Siad Bulhiye, who was Khawarij ring leader in the Jowle area, according to military officials leading the operation.
The leader was accompanied by 10 khawarij who were also killed in the operation, as they were serving as his guards.
Officials from the Somali National Army and local forces stated that they would continue their efforts to pursue the Khawarij.
