The infantry commander of the Somali National Army's, General Sahal Abdullahi Omar, held a meeting at the Dab iyo Dhagax military camp of the 27th Division in town Buuloburde twon with Sector 4 commander of the African Union Stabilization and Support Operation (AUSSOM), Colonel Said Waberi.who was accompanied by the Commander of 11th Battalion of the Djiboutian Forces, Colonel Mohamed Ahmed Yusuf, along with other officers who visited Buuloburde in the Hiiraan region.

Also present at the meeting were the Commander of the 27th Division, Colonel Abdullahi Omar Mohamed, officers from the Somali National Army, and AUSSOM forces.

The discussions was focused on intensifying ongoing military operations against the Khawarij in the Hiiraan region and strengthening the cooperation between the Somali National Army and AUSSOM forces.

The Djiboutian forces under AUSSOM, alongside the Somali National Army and local forces, have successfully reclaimed key areas in the Hiiraan region from the Khawarij,the recent battles inflicted significant losses on the Khawarij.
