Somali National Army's Commandos Division has on Monday captured key areas from the militant group of Al-Shabaab in lower Shabelle region in southern Somalia.
Hassan Abdukadir, an army commander told Somali National News Agency that the operation was very successful.
" We captured Aw-dheegle, Bariire, and Mubarak locations which were very strategic for the militant group of Al-Shabaab, This was successful and special operations against terrorist militants”, Mr. Abdukadir said.
The Commander added that the operation is still going on at moment.
