In a letter from the office of the President of Somalia His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud has constitutionally accepted the termination of two female Somali Ministers forwarded to him by the Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke on Friday.

The names of the two female Ministers fired by the PM are Khadra Bashir Ali who was the Minister for Education and Hawo Hassan Mohamed who was also the Minister for Health.

The PM has appointed two new Ministers for the positions vacated by those two Ministers, Dr. Abdikadir Abdi Hashi  is appointed as the Minister for Education and Mr. Mohamed Hajji Abdi Noor is appointed as the Minister Minister for Health.

The President has similarly accepted the appointment of the two new Ministers by the PM.

The endorsement of the firing of the two Ministers and the function of the two appointed Minister will be effective as from today the 24th of June 2016.
