Minister of Defence, H.E. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, accompanied by the Chief of the Somali National Armed Forces, General Odowaa Yusuf Raage, and other senior military officials, participated in the opening of the 4th Egypt Defence Exhibition (EDEX 2025). The exhibition, which runs for four days, is being held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) in Cairo.
The President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, officially inaugurated the exhibition, which is attended by delegations from more than 100 countries and over 450 companies representing leading global defence and security manufacturers. EDEX is the only exhibition serving both Africa and the Middle East, showcasing advanced defence and security technologies and equipment.
Government delegation will hold a series of bilateral meetings with leaders participating in the 4th Egypt Defence Exhibition.
