The Somali National Army has carried out planned operations that dismantled several hideouts used by Khawarij in villages under the Baladul Aamin area of the Lower Shabelle region.

The operations, conducted in Baladul Aamin and the villages of Nuur Dhicisow, Beerta Shariif Muqtaar, and Beerta Shacab Dile, were executed by units of the SNA. The forces strategically targeted locations where Al-Shabaab had been hiding as well as sites where explosive devices intended to harm civilians were being planted.

Commander of the 251st Battalion under the 25th Brigade of the 27th Division, Dhal Dheere, stated that the operation successfully destroyed key Khawarij hideouts.

He added that such operations will continue until the safety of civilians is fully secured and all areas where Khawarij attempt to hide from government forces are completely liberated.
