The elite Somali National Army Commandos, Gorgor, have carried out a successful planned operation in the areas of Bacadka Faarax Aadan and Ceel-deegaan, located west Harardhere in the Mudug region.

The well-coordinated mission resulted in the destruction of  Khawarij hideouts used by the Khawaarij extremists to terrorize local residents. The forces demonstrated exceptional bravery, vigilance, and tactical skill throughout the operation.

According to Lieutenant Salaad, the Deputy Commander of the 6th Battalion of the 18th Gorgor Brigade, the objective of the operation was to eliminate all enemy positions and restore full security and stability to the area.

The Gorgor forces successfully dismantled key Khawarij bases, marking another step forward in the ongoing campaign to eradicate the remnants of anti-peace groups from the region.
