The Second Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hon. Jibril Abdirashid Haji Abdi, officially closed a training program for officers and units of the Somali National Army Special forces Gorgor, who had completed various training courses in Türkiye and at the Turkish Military Training Academy (TurkSom).

In his remarks, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the government’s strong commitment to building a capable national army that can take full responsibility for the country’s security and eliminate the Khawarij.

Addressing the newly trained forces, Hon. Jibril urged them to play a key role in defeating Khawarij, ensuring national security, and safeguarding the unity of the Somali nation.
