The Somali National Army (SNA), in coordination with African Union Support and Stabilisation Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM) troops, carried out a planned operation last night targeting Beynahfarms near Buulo-Mareer in Lower Shabelle region.
The operation resulted in the killing of two Al-Shabaab commanders and two of their bodyguards. During the raid, the forces also seized cameras, binoculars, and other reconnaissance equipment used by the Khawarij.
The Somali National Army has intensified its pursuit of Al-Shabaab, inflicting heavy losses on the extremist group.
