The Somali National Army (SNA) has launched a large-scale security operation along the main roads leading to Diinsoor district and its surrounding areas.

The purpose of the operation was to prevent threats and attacks posed by Al-Shabaab against local communities, with the forces strengthening their presence in key strategic locations.

Commander of the 154th Battalion of the 8th Brigade under the 60th Division, Captain Adan Mohamed Nur (Adan Afay), stated that the operation is part of ongoing efforts to safeguard the security of the population and to thwart any attempts by Al-Shabaab to disrupt the lives of Somali citizens.
