Raaga-Ceelle, Middle Shabelle – The Minister of Defence, H.E. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, today paid a visit to Raaga-Ceelle as part of his continued frontline engagements.

During the visit, Minister Fiqi held discussions with commanders of the Somali National Army (SNA) and local community leaders. He praised the courage and resilience of the forces actively engaged in the fight against Al-Shabaab.

The Defence Minister reaffirmed the Federal Government’s unwavering support to both the national army and community defence forces. 

He lauded the recent gains against the extremists, stressing that the unity of the Somali people and the sacrifices of the armed forces are key to securing victory and lasting peace.
