Awdheegle, Lower Shabelle – The Somali National Army's Special Forces Danab, with support from allied air partners, carried out a planned operation in Awdheegle district of Lower Shabelle region.

During the operation, the forces destroyed tunnels and hideouts used by Khawarij Al-Shabaab More than 100 Khawarij were killed in the offensive.

The operation forms part of the ongoing campaign aimed at eliminating Al-Shabaab and ensuring the safety and security of the Somali people.
