To accelerate operations aimed at eliminating Al-Shabaab militants, Somali National Army (SNA) Land Forces Commander, Major General Sahal Abdullahi Omar "General Khalid," arrived in Ceeldheer district,Galgaduud region, on a mission to boost the momentum of the ongoing counterterrorism campaign.

Upon his arrival in Ceeldheer, the commander inspected the army’s frontline defenses and held special meetings with SNA officers stationed in the area.

General Khalid congratulated the officers and soldiers for their recent victories, praising the heroism of the SNA forces, and urged them to intensify the operations.

The Somali National Army has recently achieved significant successes in operations conducted across various regions of the country.
