The Head of Communications for the Somali Police Force, Brigadier General Abdikarim Hussein Maalin, and the Head of Communications for the Somali National Army, Colonel Abdullahi Hussein Dhuxulow, officially concluded a high-level training program that spanned seven weeks in Mogadishu

The training, based on a modern "On-the-Job Training" model, focused on practical work experience, advanced communication skills, digital security, and the use of solar-powered systems—critical capabilities for field operations in remote areas.

The participating officers acquired in-depth technical and security knowledge aimed at enhancing their professional performance. The closing leaders expressed special appreciation to the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS), which played a major role in supporting and implementing the training.

This successful training marks a milestone in the ongoing efforts to strengthen the communication capabilities of Somalia’s security forces—an essential foundation for national security and effective coordination across the country.
