The State Minister for Defence, H.E. Omar Ali Abdi, warmly welcomed the Minister of Defence of the Union of the Comoros, H.E. Youssoufa Mohamed Ali, upon his arrival today at Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu.
Minister Youssoufa is visiting Somalia to participate in the 34th Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) Policy Organs Meetings.
Minister Youssoufa, who is among the senior officials and defence chiefs attending the high-level conference, expressed his gratitude to the Government of Somalia for the warm hospitality and excellent arrangements extended to all delegates.
In his remarks, State Minister Omar Ali Abdi emphasised that the participation of delegates from EASF member states reflects a clear and collective commitment by the region’s governments to strengthen peace, stability, and cooperative security across Eastern Africa.
