Early this morning, the Somali National Army (SNA), supported by local community forces, carried out a well-coordinated operation in the Abooreey area, which falls under the Buulo-Burde district in the Hiiraan region.
During the operation, the forces overran Al-Shabaab hideouts in the area, inflicting heavy losses on the Khawarij. Several weapons and military supplies were also seized during the operation.
Security forces are currently pursuing fleeing Khawarij who attempted to escape. The SNA and local forces are working jointly to counter any threats posed by the enemy.
This operation is part of ongoing efforts to eliminate the Al-Shabaab Khawarij and liberate all areas under their oppression, ensuring safety and stability for the civilian population.
