The local forces of Daaru-nimco carried out a planned operation targeting Al-Shabaab Khawarij, resulting in the killing of a senior commander and several of his bodyguards.

The operation, meticulously prepared, specifically targeted Hamza Faracad, a key Al-Shabaab leader responsible for the activities in the Middle Shabelle and Hiiraan regions.

Hamza Faracad is also believed to have played a significant role in organizing bombings and other attacks targeting civilians in those areas.

Local officials confirmed that the operation ended successful.
