The brave forces of the Somali National Army (SNA), supported by the Ugandan People's Defence Forces (UPDF), have scored a significant victory in the ongoing fight against the Al-Shabaab Khawarij following a successful, well-planned operation in the strategic areas of Sabiid and Anole villages in the Lower Shabelle region.
The carefully executed offensive dealt a heavy blow to the Khawarij, forcing them to flee from their hideouts. The joint forces have now taken full control of these key locations and are currently conducting security operations to ensure the safety and stability of the local population.
The SNA command stated that this achievement reflects the ongoing efforts to eliminate Al-Shabaab and to build a secure and orderly state based on law and order.
