The Somali National Army, specifically units from the 9th Battalion of the 60th Division, conducted planned operations in the Dhaji area, approximately 40Km from Hudur district, the capital of the Bakool region.

 

These operations, aimed at eliminating Khawarij hiding in rural villages, achieved significant success, according to Colonel Yoonis Aadan Hassan, the commander of the 9th Battalion, who confirmed to Somali National Army media.

 

 

The commander stated that many Khawarij were killed during the operation, including key leaders. Additionally, weapons and military supplies that had been stored in the area were seized.
