The Deputy Infantry Commander of the Somali National Army (SNA), Gen Abdullahi Aden Hussein (Ciro), today held a motivational and advisory meeting with units of Gorgor Commandos.
Addressing the troops at a parade ground in Buuloburde district of Hiiraan region, Gen Ciro praised the commandos for their courage and significant role in ongoing operations against the Khawarij, as well as their contribution to maintaining the country’s overall security.
The Commander specifically commended the troops for successfully fulfilling their national duties and encouraged them to redouble their efforts to achieve the expected victories.
During his visit to Buuloburde, the Deputy Infantry Commander also met with officers from the 27th Division and other local officials to review and enhance ongoing security plans in the area.
These engagements are part of the Somali National Army leadership’s sustained efforts to boost the morale and operational readiness of its forces, ensuring they execute their national responsibilities effectively.
