The Federal Government of Somalia's Minister of Defense, H.E. Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, held a meeting today with the Chief of Defense Forces of Italy, General Luciano Portolano, and the Italian Ambassador to Somalia, H.E. Pier Daccò Coppi.
The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral defense cooperation between Somalia and Italy, enhancing the capacity and training of the Somali National Army (SNA), and reaffirming Italy's continued support in Somalia’s fight against terrorist groups.
