The Deputy Commander of the Somali National Army and acting Chief of Defence Forces, General Madey Nuurey Sheikh, welcomed a delegation of senior officers led by the Commander of the Italian National Army, General Luciano Portolano, at Aden Adde International Airport.

Following the reception, the Deputy Commander of the Somali Army and the Italian Army Chief held a bilateral meeting where they discussed cooperation between the Somali and Italian armed forces.
