The Minister of Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Ambassador Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, chaired the monthly meeting of the Technical Committee for Stabilization Coordination,

 which brought together officials from various government ministries and agencies. The meeting focused particularly on enhancing inter-agency cooperation in stabilization efforts, the fight against Al-Shabaab Khawarij, and unifying government messaging to deliver effective public awareness campaigns.

The Chair of the Technical Committee, Abdiraziz Ahmed Gurbiye, explained the committee’s objectives and significance, while the Chief of the Somali National Army, General Odawaa Yusuf Raage, highlighted the achievements of the armed forces and the committee’s role in supporting ongoing military op1erations.

Minister Fiqi emphasized that the media is a critical tool in countering Al-Shabaab propaganda and strengthening public support. He urged all government institutions to unite for the final phase of national stabilization and cleansing operations.
