The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, visited Demartino Hospital today to assess the medical condition of the heroic Macawisley fighters who were injured on the frontlines of the ongoing battle against the Khawarij.

The President personally visited each of the wounded heroes, emphasizing the Federal Government’s strong commitment to prioritizing their medical care and ensuring they receive all the necessary support.

"You are the defenders of the people, the religion, the nation, and our statehood. You have secured a golden chapter in our history. The Somali Government will always stand by your side,” President Hassan Sheikh declared.

Following this, the President toured various sections of Demartino Hospital, receiving a detailed briefing from hospital management on the services currently offered to the public, existing challenges, and future development plans.

The President was accompanied during the visit by the First Deputy Speaker of the Upper House, Hon. Cali Shacbaan Ibrahim, and the Deputy President of Hirshabelle State, Hon. Yusuf Ahmed Hagar.
