Somali National Army Conducted operations in Hiiraan region

The Somali National Armed Forces (SNA) and local forces have conducted extensive operations against militants in key areas of the Hiiraan region.
These operations, which specifically targeted areas in eastern Hiiraan, successfully liberated several locations that were critical strongholds for the khawaarij.
The areas that were recaptured from the khawaarij are Beero Yabaal, Bur Abooto, Eega Galmay, Jidcillaan and Cadow Gurey.
The Commander of the 27th Division of Somali National Armed Forces, Colonel Abdullahi Omar, confirmed to Somali National Armed Forces Media (SNARADIO) that the operations resulted in the elimination of several khawaarij and the destruction of their key hideouts. Additionally, the forces seized weapons from the khawaarij during the operations.
These operations are part of ongoing efforts to liberate khawaarij from the country.
