The Federal Government of Somalia welcomes the concern shown by our brotherly nations and regional bodies to which Somalia is a member, who have released statements on the present political stalemate regarding the implementation of the election that are consistent with the position of the Federal Government of Somalia.

The Federal Government of Somalia agrees, wholeheartedly, the need to finalize the remaining issues regarding the political agreement of 17th September and resolve all issues peacefully through dialogue.
